This report has been produced to accompany the publication of LINK’s report Still Delivering the Goods. It provides a wider context and background to biodiversity issues, including the development of relevant law and policy, at international, European, UK and Scottish levels.
These two reports aim to highlight the clear need for a step change in funding, an effective policy framework and partnership working for biodiversity conservation. The scale of the challenge faced by Scotland and the wider world to reverse biodiversity decline and restore it for future generations can only be achieved by working together.
