LINK Briefing on Climate Change (Emissions Reduction Target-Scotland) Bill Stage 1 Debate

Stage 1 debate of the Climate Bill takes place on 2nd April (Tuesday). MSPs will debate on this bill that seeks actions on Climate Emergency and nature crisis. LINK welcomes  Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee’s (ECCLR) support of limiting global temperature rise to 1.5°C and explicit agreement that a net zero target for all greenhouse gas emissions is necessary to achieving it.
