EDI Templates
Diversity Action Plan Template
Scottish Environment LINK have created a template Diversity Action Plan with an accompanying Equality Impact Assessment that incorporates all suggested actions on the Nature for All Resource Hub. Where actions are advised, there are links within the template on where to find more information within the hub for ease of use.
Equality policy template
Here is an example of guidance and commitment statements from RSPB that may be of use when creating your equality policy. The ARC-Trust have also produced an equality policy that may be of use, too.
ACAS have also produced an Equality Policy template that we recommend using alongside our own recommendations specified in How to Support Staff and Volunteers.
Diversity and anti-racism statement template
Our sister organisation, Wildlife and Countryside LINK have produced an excellent diversity and anti-racism statement that you can read and adapt to either place on your website or as part of your Equality Policy or Diversity Action Plan.
Accessibility checklist
We have created an accessibility checklist covering all the topics discussed here, which we recommend using alongside the other resources on this page.

Parental policy template
An example of a workplace parental policy, that includes maternity (inclusive of ante natal appointments, pregnancy, and baby loss), paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave from one of Scottish Environment LINK’s member organisations, Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
Adjustment policy template
Here is LINK’s adjustment policy that we welcome member organisations to adapt and use within their own organisations.
Safeguarding policy template
We have a safeguarding policy for both adults and children, which we encourage you to use alongside the other templates on the hub
Zero-tolerance policy template
We have created a zero-tolerance policy at LINK that has been designed to offer practical ways of dealing with harassment, bullying, hate incidents and assault online and in-person. They also explain how Scottish Environment LINK handles reports of harassment, bullying, hate incidents or assault. The guidelines complement our EDI Policy and our Equal Opportunities form. We encourage all member organisations to use this policy as a template to create their own or to add into their current bullying and harassment policy
