In March 2019 members of LINK’s Marine Group attended a Scottish Government stakeholder workshop on proposals for 4 new nature conservation MPAs, for the protection of a number of PMFs including minke whale, basking shark, Risso’s dolphin and sandeel. Following the workshop, written representations from stakeholders were invited before the documents would be published to consultation. The consultation is now live and is due to conclude on 30th August 2019.
