Rio+20 Working Group Letter to First Minister

"We would …like to bring to [the First Minister’s] attention the document ‘A Flourishing Scotland’, the outcome of a participative event attended by sustainable development experts from across Scotland in preparation for Rio+20. The report summarises ten celebrations from the past 20 years since the first Rio Summit, along with 10 ambitions for Scotland in the coming 20 years. The compilation of this report has proven to be a valuable exercise, capturing as it does some of the major issues which need to be collectively addressed in order to make the shift to a truly sustainable economy in Scotland."
